Chemical transportations

Chemical transportations are a very diverse and challenging business environment. The properties of the products vary from carbon dioxide at -25 °C, to hydrochloric acid, with the capability to corrode acid resistant steel. Simeon's capability in chemical transportations has advanced from original gas transportations to its present full service entity. We are able to transport at present, all the chemical industry products or raw materials, which our clients require.

Our special excellence is in Teflon® coated tanks, built for the purpose of strongly corrosive materials. All the services are also available in the Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Russia and in particular the economic area of St Petersburg, is experiencing a growth in chemical transportations. Queries in the area, particularly for water purification chemicals, are believed and hoped to be on the increase. We also transport at present significant product flows from Finland to Russia and continue clarifications of clients' needs to get Simeon's services locally in St Petersburg.

For transportations between the Nordic countries, we serve our clients at present with the export transportations of certain special products. The operation volumes are not greatly large, but our vehicles are tailor made particularly for these products.

The properties and variations of the products, place a significant role on the matters of training and safety. The training requirements set by the authorities are only a small part of the work that the transport company and its clients put into the development of safety and capabilities.
